ANNOUNCEMENTS

 

A list of all senior names, have been posted in the library.  Please check your name to see if it is correct, as this is how your name will appear on your diploma.  If your name is incorrect, please see the registrar, Mrs. Vavrick.  Corrections must be submitted no later than Monday, February 26th. Remember:   You must complete all graduation requirements in order to graduate.  Continue to work hard and keep up your grades.

Athletic Packets and Clearances will not be available during class time. Please see Ms. Ana lunch or after school for all your athletic needs.

Seniors participating in the AV Bridge Program, check your student email account for important registration instructions to Antelope Valley College, due date is today Feb 9th.  If you have questions, Please see Mr Myles in the Counseling Office.

 

Please join us for our 5th annual KHS Student Art Show!  Art from various visual arts classes will be on display in the school library from January 29th through February 28th.  Come see what our creative students have been up to!

 

Good Morning Hawks! Choir is once again selling Singing Valentine Grams to be delivered on Valentines Day. For just $3.00, you can send a singing valentine gram to your special someone or a friend. Pick from songs like “I’m Yours” by Jason Mraz, “Count on Me” by Bruno Mars, and many more. They are for sale in the commons during both lunches.

Attention Students; Link Crew us hosting a Valentine’s Day Dance is today Friday in the small gym from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. Please bring ID or Powerschool login on your phone. Prices are $3.00 for Freshmen, $4.00 for all others, $5.00 for couples.

 

KHS Photography Club welcomes all grade levels our goal is teach our members to know the basic photography skills and go to art galleries we meet every Thursday in room 147 right after school

 

Boys Volleyball Tryouts begin next week on Monday, February 12 from 1-3 in the small gym and will continue after school each day through Thursday.  To try out, you must be cleared through the Athletics Office.  If you have any questions, please see Coach Goeschl in room 127 or Coach Susilla in room 219.

 

 

ATTENTION STUDENTS:   

 

Safe Rooms have long been established at KHS!  They are marked with stickers in the windows or on doors with the words Safe Room and Anti-bullying.  KHS Safe Rooms are open before school, at snack, at lunch, and after school.
